Is REST fscmRestApi/resources/x/salesOrdersForOrder able to create customers ?

Summary:

Sorry, not expert in SCM (I am on the tech side).

Please, can anyone put light on this?

According to (Doc ID 2559179.1), REST is not able to do it, I mean create the customer on-the-fly.

Can the REST do it now?

Could someone provide another approach?

I have seen fbdi option has this option, but I have no tested.
