How to close the covered level asset in included warranty

We have created an included warranty subscription for an item after shipment. After that we have performed the customer asset replacement transaction and run through the Reprocess Install Base Asset Process. A new covered level asset is added under covered level but the old asset is not moved to closed.

Do we have to run any ESS process to change the status from Active to Closed?
