Pre-emptive payroll calculation
Summary:
Some payroll systems calculate pay in real time. Is it an issue that HCM can't do that?
Content (required):
Raising this as a question rather than an idea because I'm not convinced it's technically possible given HCM's architecture.
Some other payroll systems calculate pay in real time, i.e. when an employee record is updated, it triggers a background process to immediate calculate their next payslip. Some clients are a little disappointed when we demonstrate to them how many manual processes are involved in running a payroll. Yes you can automate with flows, but running a payroll in HCM is not as slick as in some other systems (sorry Oracle).
