Differences between Reports and FRS Reports

We are in the process of migrating our current FRS Reports to the new solution Reports. I see in the Report Format - that there are only options to run the report as a PDF or as HTML. Is there a way to default the report to run and export to excel? All our reports need to be in excel.


Also - we have FRS reports that are not migrating to Reports due to all the features/format not being supported. How do I determine what needed to be updated in the FRS report in order for it to migrate to Reports? There doesn't seem to be an error log that is populated.
