Ability to update a goods non catalog with a item from the item mast without losing the requisition

Summary:

Is there a way we can update Item from item master in the Line type(Goods) non catalog requisition backed PO without losing link to Requisition once PO is created.

e.g. I have created Non catalog requisition approved it and processed requisition to PO using process requisition lines task and Once PO is created I am trying to update the Line with Item from Item master, It is not allowing me to do it because Item field is greyed out. Is there a way we can update to it without losing the Requisition Link
