Extra FCGL properties on dimensions without hierarchies

I am seeing something odd in EDM. On my current build we have a few segments that do not have hierarchies … only the value set. In EDM it looks like the parent, tree table & level properties are getting assigned as unbound properties on the node type as part of the application registration process.

They are not displayed in the list viewpoint so no impact to the data stewards and they are not in the dimension bindings either.

Can I remove these from the node type? Or do they serve some other purpose?
