Summary:

Few of inactivated departments in HCM should be inactivated on Taleo also.

On the same, I went to Configuration->Recruiting administration->admin-Department list-- I have inactivated few of them and tried to end dated few of them, but on both cases departments are not visible on same navigation as inactivated. it is completely deleted from that navigation.

It is functionally inactivated.Configuration->Recruiting administration->admin-Department list-Edit- check the Inactivated radio buuton- Save it.
