How to format the time incase of 'PM'

We are setting date and time to another fields , for AM it is working fine when we select the PM (ex: 6PM) it is giving as 6 AM only , attaching the sample code for reference.

  we are adding 12hrs when user selects PM and when setting the same date time to another field we are getting it as AM only instead of PM.
