Has anyone seen the manager hierarchy NOT refresh after completing a manager change?
Summary: In one of our environments the manager hierarchy is not refreshing automatically after making a change via an application page (Change Manager).

The "Implementing Global Human Resources" guide says the following:
"Whenever a change is made to a person's manager hierarchy through the application pages, the change is reflected automatically in the denormalized manager hierarchy table."
This logic is working in one of our environments, we make a manager change using the "Change Manager" flow, once the transaction is processed and completed the new manager's "My Team" page is reflected with the new direct report.
However in another one of our environments (no differences in configuration as far as we are aware) when we run through the same process of completing a change manager transaction the new direct report is not reflected in the new manager's "My Team" (and taken out of the old manager's "My Team") until the "Refresh Manager Hierarchy" process is run.
