Can we use a Salary Basis Frequency 'Lunar Month' for a 4-Weekly Payroll Period

edited Jun 15, 2023 10:34AM in Compensation 5 comments

Summary:

Lunar Month Salary Basis Frequency for a 4-Weekly Payroll Period

Content (required):

Background: Customer has a 4-Weekly Payroll Definition with a fixed 13 periods, meaning in a calendar year with 53 weeks the last payroll period will hold 5 weeks.

Issue: Currently there is no '4-Weekly' Salary Basis Frequency available and the 'Payroll Period' value is not an option because it does not allow to enter an Annualization Factor.

Question: Could we use a 'Lunar Month' as Salary Basis Frequency without causing issues with the standard functionality. Please notice that the customer is not using Oracle Payroll but only the Global Payroll Interface.

Howdy, Stranger!
