Multiperiod Accounting Proration on 30days per month

Summary:

I'm currently working with a customer that would like to set a prorated by days where when we have 31 days months, we account them as 30days in order to have a linear debit over the period.

The Oracle standard prorate formula by days does not support the scenario requested by the customer as it takes into account all days from all accounting periods defined.

Hence I'm currently exploring Custom User-Defined formula to managed the customer requirement.

Finally, has anyone implemented such formula for a customer with similar requirements that could provide some details on how to achieve the perfect formula to cover the needs?
