We opened an SR on the functionality of the export-manage in workbook failing.  Oracle has linked it to a known bug that I wanted to share in case others are having this same issue.

Bug 28415947 - MANAGE IN SPREADSHEET EXPORT FAILING WITH 500 INTERNAL ERROR FOR 18B
