How to sum using rounded #s in Financial Reporting Studio grid report?

Summary:

We are having issues with the way that rounded #s are being summed in FRS (our statutory reports are all set to not use any decimal places), and we'd like to know if it is possible to make the report behave differently without having to display the decimal places.

Simplified example:

  • Row 1 = 100 (rounded down from 100.40)
  • Row 2 = 100 (rounded down from 100.40)
  • Row 3 (formula is Sum of rows 1 and 2) = 201 (rounded up from 200.80)

Content:

Can we possibly get the sum row to be the sum of the displayed #s rather than the sum of the actual (non-rounded #s)?

Even though the 201 is not incorrect, the report looks incorrect by showing 100 + 100 = 201.

Howdy, Stranger!
