Computer Telephony Window Disappears if User navigates to Another Screen

Summary: We have configured a CTI telephone tool to attend inbound calls and to make outbound calls. this tool appears as a small separate browser window.

during any In Progress calls, if the user has to Navigate away from Service Request page, the tool disappears(call is still connected though) and when he navigates back to SR list the tool appears again.

Please advise how to make this tool persistent and not disappear when User navigates away from SR screens.
