Where do you go to set the preferred communication channel for an internal candidate?

I need to be able to set the preferred communication channel on an Internal Candidate. The candidate has an email but I am unable to test recruiting emails because I receive the error: ""The candidate can't receive any emails because email isn't set as their preferred communication channel".

I am unable to receive recruiting emails on an Internal candidate in our Test Environment. I receive the error: ""The candidate can't receive any emails because email isn't set as their preferred communication channel".

According to Doc ID 2886865.1, this happens when there isn't an email in the Candidate Profile but an email does exists. The alternative offered is to use HDL, but I am being told by Oracle Support that I should use the UI method. Where do I go to set the preferred communication channel for an internal candidate?
