Error when changing the due date of a task that you are not the owner of

If you try to change the due date of a task that you are not the owner of, you will get the following error.

　Insufficient privilege to update entity oracle.apps.crmCommon.activities.publicModel.activityManagement.entity.ActivityAssigneeEO.

Can I change the settings to avoid this and allow others to change the deadline?
