Payroll calc earnings wrong for Salaried employees whose weekly work hours is less than 40 hours

edited Jul 5, 2023 2:39PM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 6 comments

Summary: We have timecards integrated with payroll. All of our employees are set to have timecards required equal to Yes. Even Salaried employees need to fill in a timecard. We do payroll weekly. However, we want salaried employees to always get paid whatever their weekly salary is - it does not matter if the timecard hours contains more than or less than 40 hours for the week.

Content (required): The problem is: if an employee gets paid 2000 dollars a week salary and is a 35 hours per week employee, then Oracle's payroll calc does not calculate 2000 dollars earnings. It wrongly indicates the person's earnings is 1750.00 for the week. I assume Oracle is basically doing 2000 * 52, then 104,000 / 2080, then 50.00 * 35 (35 hours from the timecard).

Howdy, Stranger!
