Taleo Onboarding: How to Modify a field in a Form

I need to know how to modify a field in an Onboarding form. 1 - convert a drop down field to text and 2 - add values to a drop-down field. I opened a ticket with "support" but they said they cannot help me and to come to this forum.

When I try to change the field value from drop-down to text, I do not get any options to do so. When I check on the drop-down field, I cannot even see the existing options.
