How do we change balance values if a payroll has already been run?

Hello,

We're looking for advice on balances. The situation is:

  • In April 2018 we ran a payroll for a population but did not go live, their balances were naturally zero/not initialised or imported as this is the start of the tax year (created by running the first period of the payroll)
  • Since then, the April payroll has rolled back
  • We would now like to go live in September 2018
  • As the balances have been intiialised by running the first payroll period, we cannot load initial balances (cannot be run when you have run any payroll)
  • Documentation states that adjustments should be used in exceptional circumstances
