Credit Limit is not populating for Customer Site Profile using ReceivablesCustomerProfileService API

We have a requirement to add credit limits under Currency Settings section of Customer account site profile using API. We are using ReceivablesCustomerProfileService SOAP API to create a customer account site profile. We are able to create Customer Account Site Profile using this API but Credit Limit record is not inserted even though we are passing in API request payload along with credit currency.

Can anyone please provide information on what could be the reason why record for currency and respective credit limit is not getting inserted under Currency Settings section of Customer Site Profile or do we have any other API or workaround to achieve this?
