Suppose there is a term license contract of $1000 where the License part is $600 and maintenance part is $400 and is recognized in three phases.

Revenue Recognition:

Phase 1: 60% - 1st April to 30th June

Phase 2: 30% - Dates will be based on phase 1 completion

Phase 3: 10% - Dates will be based on phase 2 completion

Billing:

Quarterly billing will happen of $250 each and dates will be adhoc based on the business requirement.
