How can I attach a supporting document to a bank statement?

There is a field for 'attachments' but when I go to Manage Bank Statements --> Select the BS --> Pencil Icon there is no option to add any attachment. Can I not add any other support/reference document besides the bank statement file itself which is automatically uploaded?
