Job application Flow - Job Application Fairness Act

edited Jul 19, 2023 6:57PM in Recruiting, Opportunity Marketplace 1 comment

Hi Team

We are working to meet a new state law that was passed, SB23-058 (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb23-058) the Job Application Fairness Act. This law restricts the collection of age, date of birth, dates of attendance at or date of graduation from an educational institution, or dates of employment on an initial application dates from candidates during the initial job application process.

These dates are still important for us to collect for completing the hiring process accurately. While we have a phase (Request more info Flow) after the offer is accepted to allow candidates to provide their date of birth, we need to find a solution to collect their graduation dates and dates of employment before extending the offer. This is necessary for us to calculate an accurate initial offer for the candidates.

Howdy, Stranger!
