Salary basis with Simple Components in WFC Plans - How to configure and how does it work?

Summary: My question specifically is, if we create a salary basis of type (Salary amount is determined by simple components) how do we configure it in the WFC Plan and how does the worksheet manager inputs the values for the various components of the employees’ Salary.

         We have a requirement as follows:


We are in the process of finalizing what type of Salary basis we would like to configure, whether we should go with either

  • Salary amount is determined by simple components
  • Salary amount is determined by user


One of the considerations is how this will impact the Annual Salary Increment process which is to be done through Workforce Compensation Plans.
