Hide Mobile-Specific Content On Desktop In Email Design?

First post here, so forgive me if this isn't in any proper format

I'm looking to create an email that shows/does not show a linked button image depending on whether or not the user is on mobile vs desktop (I want it to show on mobile-only);

I'm currently planning on using display: none and some responsive classes, but have been told that some desktop clients don't play nicely with display: none by a supervisor.

That said, does Responsys have any built-in way of recognizing whether an email is being accessed via mobile or desktop that can be utilized within the email editor for dynamic content-esque purposes? (I figure it may be possible considering OS/browser/etc can be recognized in reports.

Howdy, Stranger!
