Apostrophes are removed in gmail app?

Is there anyone else that is finding this rare issue where the apostrophes are being removed completely? We had one person state that we didn't use an apostrophe in the word "we'll' so it looks like "well". Something like this makes me wish it were the other apostrophe issue where it is just boxes because now this person thinks we're some idiots or just poor at checking what we send out.
