How to pause program in customer journey prioritize other program and resume this back again.

HI,

I am creating a customer journey which runs over a period of 9 months. But on a particular events during that 9 months, I want to send out a separate event specific campaign to the users, such that the user receives only one campaign and is paused from all the other current running programs. Once the event is completed, the programs has to be resumed back. Appreciate your suggestions to achieve this in responsys.
