Custom Events, how do the work?

Hi.

I have read about the custom events and seen they are often used.

But I can´t really find any solid explanation or tutorial on how to use them!

I can see how to create them.

But I can´t find anything on how they get triggerede in a program for instance.

How do you set this up?

Anyone have some good turtorial, video content, that can explain this to a RSYS neewb
