Branding Domain and Multiple From addresses

Hello there!

I am new @responsys and I need help regarding the brand delegation because I am a bit confused.

1. Based on best practices for branded domain, we should recommend our client to use a sub-domain (ideally) or a full domain,that it shouldn't include the word 'email'.

Is that correct? What if they use the word 'email'? Will they have deliverability issues?

2. Supposing that our client uses the domain 'mail.mycompany.com', could they create from addresses (up to 5) using the same or other domains? For example:
