Processing Error: Increments of .01 for the plan

Summary

Error when processing a potential life event

Content

I'm in Benefits Administration > Enrollment > Tasks > Process Life Event.  Previously, I'd created a Potential Life Event for an employee using a life event that opens up all plans for administrator use.  My purpose in creating this maintenance event is to change an employee's retirement amount.  The employee only has this one unprocessed potential life event.  I click "Evaluate Life Events."  And this error appears:

The amount must be in increments of .01 for the plan. Review the coverage and rate setup and the calculated value. (BEN-990303)
Context at the time of error: Plan Retirement (457) Regular Employees - Enter Dollars, Rate BEN 457 REG $$ LT 50 Y/O.
