Responsys: invoke response from CX app

We have a CX app in Responsys that receives batches of up to 10,000 contacts. What is the recommended way to indicate that we are done processing the contact(s) so they can move out of the CX app step on the program? We have only found a way to indicate that the entire batch of up to 10,000 contacts has completed. Is there a way to do this at the contact level?
