compare contact fields for two different contacts

I want to compare the contact fields for two different contacts. For example if I have a contact with email address = test1@test.com with First name = Test and second contact with email address = test2@test.com with First name = Test. If I want to compare the first name for these two different contacts how would I achieve this.
