What is the pattern checked to block URLs in form fields

Does anyone know what pattern is used to determine a URL when a form field has verfication must not include any URLs?

We have a sales inquiry form that asks about project details that failed for someone this week because his legitimate answer was being considered a URL.  Thankfully he used our feedback form so we still got to pass him on to sales.

I've been doing some test submits with pieces of the actual text submitted and i've narrow down the issue to be with this text  "1.Cloud Service 2.Analytics".  I was curious to know the pattern matching checked.  I figure if I know what's getting picked up I can next time direct the person accordingly so the form submits ok.  (Side note... this is clearly pretty rare since this form has been live for years & it's the first time real text triggered the URL validation).
