Email Address Link Color

Hi, I am using responsive editor for emails and am having an issue on the footer. The email address in the signature is white font on a dark blue background. I have coded the signature to be ffffff. However, when it hits certain email boxes, like outlook, it converts the email address in the signature to a dark blue active link, this renders it almost invisible. Any fixes in code or elsewhere to keep it hardcoded?
