Changes to Data Import (Aug 2017)
Overview
With the arrival of the Eloqua 490 release (Aug 8 – 20, 2017), we are making two changes to data imports:
- There will be a 5GB limit on data imports via SFTP
- Excel data imports will read raw values, instead of evaluating functions
What’s changing?
5GB limit on data imports via SFTP
With 490, there will be a 5GB limit on data imports via SFTP. If attempting to import a file larger than 5GB the import will fail, with a message appearing in Setup > Integration > Inbound > Upload History, and also included in the failure e-mail.
Excel data imports will read raw values
Currently we evaluate Excel functions when an Excel file is imported. With 490, Excel data imports will read raw values, instead of evaluating functions.
