Insight (OBIEE) Tips | Add Row Numbers to your Report

Hey Everyone,

Thought I'd share this tip in case you're looking for a quick way to add row numbers to your report.

  1. Select New Calculated Measure

    2. Enter a Folder and Heading Name of your choice ( i.e. Row #)

    3. Enter the following in the Column Formula expression builder:  RCOUNT(1)

4. Hit ok, you will now see the Row Count column

*Extra tip

If you would like to see your total row count easily, you can drag and drop the Row # column to the top of your report (vertically)
