Form Submission Confirmation Page (Aug 2018)

Overview

With Oracle Eloqua's 18C release (August 2018), we enabled a form submission confirmation page upon successful submission of a form via the F/F2 endpoint, in cases where there was no default redirect URL provided. This improved the user experience of a successful form submission scenario, where only a blank page was previously displayed.

What’s changing?

Prior to the 18C release (August 2018), upon successful submission of a form via the F/F2 endpoint where there was no default redirect URL provided, a blank page would appear. It was found that this scenario could lead to confusion for the form submitter and could lead to multiple retry attempts. As such, Eloqua made a change with the 18C release (August 2018) and now displays a confirmation image with the message “Form was submitted! Thank you for submission.” when there is no redirect URL specified.
