Way to Track Button Clicks

I'm new to Eloqua, so I apologize if this is something simple I should know! My company has a landing page explaining to the customer that they need to upgrade their system in order to keep our service, and the button we have on the page links them to our product page/website. We tried turning the button into a form (that they actually don't fill out) that also redirects them to the product link. That didn't work-we get a "your form was submitted" message but also an error message that says something along the lines of your link didn't work,
