Social Sharing App

Can anyone provide information on how to track the clicks on social sharing app? I tried including it on my email and I don't see it being tracked in click-throughs. Is there a workaround that anyone knows? I know for links to webpage, there's a way to click the manually track by checking the redirect (for untracked pages) checkbox but since this is a cloud component instance, I don't know how to do it.
