FSCM Custom Job Role doesn't inherit DSP from other custom or seeded Roles in Role Hierarchy

Custom Job Role doesn't inherit data security policies from other custom or seeded Roles in Role Hierarchy

We have a requirement to manage a single Custom Role to be assigned to the user (via an Access Mgmt automation)

This Custom Role (say Access-Profile-Role) inherits from other Seeded (SeededRole1) or Custom Roles (CustomFinJobRole2).

What we noticed is that when user was assigned the superceding Access-Profile-Role, they didn't get the required DSP that are assigned to parent roles in the hierarchy. Documentation everywhere says DSPs are inherited when Roles are inherited.

Edit - We are mainly seeing this behaviour for Financials roles.
