Create new requisition template, cannot remove fields

We currently have one requisition template in ORC for use with one of our business units, but we need to create a new template for a new business unit as their requirements are different. However, when I've selected to create a new requisition template, it's carrying over the mandatory fields from our existing template and won't let me save unless I populate with responses, none of which will be applicable in the new template. I've selected the option to create from both position and standalone but it's doing the same thing. How can I create a new
