Action that can be performed with Hold

I am interested to know what all actions that can be performed when the line or order is on hold.

I have configured 2 Holds, one to Hold all service enabled and another Hold without any service.

Want to understand the limitations.

Will it allow to update the line attributes like warehouse, quantity?

Will it allow to split the line while on Hold?
