Unable to e-sign Onboarding Forms when using OpenID

We are using the account password as the e-signature on our forms in Onboarding/Transitions and are finding that candidates who use the OpenID option to sign into the career site are unable to complete the e-signature without error. The forms are not recognizing the OpenID password as valid for the e-signature field. Is anyone else running into this issue and if so how are you handling it. We have currently removed the OpenID option until we can find a solution as it was causing candidate frustration. We would prefer to not change the e-signature to be name or such if
