Best practices to collect DOB and SSN from candidates?
Summary: Best practices followed by clients-how and when DOB, SSN are collected from candidates
Existing design:
- Request for More Information is configured to collect SSN, DOB from external candidates when offer is extended.
- Background check (BG) is initiated once offer is accepted by Candidate.
- Candidate needs to entre DOB, SSN when submitting BG form.
- Due to business processes, in few cases, candidates are moved to HR without BG check completion. Sometimes, HRIS team had to manually enter DOB and SSN in CoreHR.
- As of now, No automatic movement of Phase from Offer to HR. Candidates are moved from Offer Phase to HR manually.
