OSMH: Changing a Storage path or Replacing The Storage Device/Hard Drive of a Storage path

GOAL

How to change OSMH Management Station Storage Path or when the Storage Path Device/Hard Drive is replaced but the Storage Path remains the same.

SOLUTION

  • When the Storage Path of the Management Station is changed, It is important to edit  the Management Station and replace the new Storage Path following steps in the document: https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/osmh/doc/edit-management-station.htm
  • When the Storage Device/Hard Drive of a Storage Path is replaced and the Storage Path remains the same, then no need to edit the Management Station. The only step to perform is to run the station-setup.sh script below:
