Streamlining the process of adding emergency contacts via our self-service system is our goal

Summary:

Content (required):

My objective is to enable employees to easily add emergency contacts through the self-service system. Here's how we plan to achieve this:

1. When employees access the new contact screen, the "What's the start date of this relationship" field will automatically default to today's date. However, users will have the flexibility to modify this date as needed.

2. To designate someone as an emergency contact, users must check the "This person is an emergency contact" option, which will prompt them to provide a phone number. This step is essential as it ensures our customers have the contact's phone number available in case of an emergency, which aligns with our primary goal.
