Restricting access to Lookups based on Roles

Hi Team,

We have a requirement to restrict the access to common and standard lookups to the users based upon the modules. For example- Finance users should be able to access FIN lookups and Procurement users should be able to access Procurement related lookups only. Is there a way to restrict access based on any roles? If anyone has worked on a similar requirement and can help me with approach, please let me know.
