Set Credit limit for each Business unit

Hi,

What is the best option to set a credit limit against each Business unit?

For instance: we have 3 business units and a customer account where the 3 BUs can enter a Sales Order/invoice again this customer account.

We have a requirement to set a credit limit for each BU for the Same Customer account? OR there's no option other than create a separate customer account for each BU in order to able to set a credit limit for each.
