Instance configuration features need changes

Summary:I just want to bring notice of product management team that instance configuration feature really need below changes.Suppose I created an instance configuration from an existing compute instance and name it as myinstance.If I want to launch instance from that compute instance then I observe that instance is created with template name and I can not change it.What is the use of instance configuration then
