How get we get the asterix to be displayed beside mandatory fields after customization ?

After cutomising DFF segments to be mandatory using customisation in page composer, an asterix is not displayed the mandatory fields

We have a personalization in the Edit requisition page to make a DFF segment mandatory when the category starts with “CAPEX” . The rule before was

#{WCTruncator[row.CategoryName]['5'] == 'CAPEX...'}

This does not work anymore, and we found in the Doc ID 2855975.1 that the function “WCTruncator” is no longer available since 22A and that it has been replaced by the function “fn:startsWith”.

We tried to add the library lines as suggested in the Doc ID 2855975.1 , but if we do then we get a blank page when we access the requisition details page. So in the end we just changed the function to
